Introduction of ics2csv a web application which converts ICS to CSV formatted file

I released ics2csv which is a web application converts ICS file to CSV.

This web application has the following features.

• Convert ICS file to CSV
• Supports recurrence (repeat) event
• Specify start and end date of CSV file
• It is written by javascript and fully worked on the web browser. So once open the website it is still worked after off-lined.

I made it for generating CSV file from the calendar application which doesn't have functionality exporting schedule as CSV file but ICS like Google Calendar or Mac's Calendar application. You can create CSV file form ICS file if once it is exported from the application and then convert via ics2csv.

The CSV file generated from the calendar application can be used for the following purpose.

• Listing up meeting schedule and analyze how many hours do you take time for what type of meeting
• Create report based off calendar schedule

I named my web site as "be8hours". Since I'd like to publish tools through this web site which reduces ineffective time and maximize the effort of the working time.

Currently, the web application "Meeting Hour Counter" is also developing and published beta version on the web site which calculates how many hours did you spent for meeting from ICS file.
